The summer is not over yet!

Get energized as soon as you jump out of bed with one of my favourite smoothies.

The summer season has a lot to offer when it comes to juicy and yummy fruits. To get the nutrients I need to start the day from the right foot, I love to make a banana and berry smoothie for breakfast. It's super quick to make, delicious and it's loaded with antioxidants and vegetal protein!


You will need:

1. A banana

2. A cup of almond milk

3. A handful of fresh blueberries

4. A teaspoon of ground flax seeds

5. A few slices of fresh ginger (optional)

Mix all the ingredients in a blender and serve.


If you can, I encourage you to buy organic and local fruits. If you can't find blueberries, you can do it with raspberries, strawberries, mango, etc. Get creative ;-)

You can also substitute the almond milk with your favourite milk. Personally, I prefer vegetable milk, especially in the morning, as cow's milk has a tendency to upset my stomach. Whatever you do, drink it up as soon as it's ready to have all the vitamins.
