I just came back from my vacation in Gran Canaria where I discovered the benefits of Aloe Vera. Of course, I had already heard of this peculiar plant with long and green leaves but I did not realize at the time that it was considered to have so many health benefits.
Aleo vera has been used since the Antiquity for its curative and cosmetic properties. It comes from Macaronesia, a collection of four archipelagos in the Atlantic ocean, including Azores, Madeira, Canary and Cape Verde islands.
There are many types of Aloe vera but only a few have therapeutic benefits (Aloe vera barbadensis, Aloe arborescens, Aleo chinensis, etc.). The Aloe gel which can be found in the leaves contains 200 components that are beneficial for your health, including vitamins, amino acids, minerals, enzymes, polysaccharides and organic acids.
It is this unique combination of components that makes Aleo vera a miracle cure for digestive issues, ulcers and which helps heal wounds and reduce psoriasis and herpes.
You can buy fresh Aloe vera from organic shops or buy Aloe gel and juice that you can respectively apply on your skin or use orally.
I have been recommended a Canarian brand called AloVeria. I just bought some gel and juice to reduce my psoriasis. I will give it a try and see if it really works.
Do not hesitate to share your experience and comments.
